Sidekick School is a unique startups incubator programme. It is designed to help big third sector organisations use digital innovation to create new, sustainable spin-out digital businesses.

At a time, when demand for services is increasing, funding for charities and social organisations has rarely been under such pressure. Sidekick School is setup to help charities build remarkable digital products that would enable them to deliver better services and access new revenue streams.

The programme is run by Sidekick Studios, with the support of the Nominet Trust. The pilot program attracted some of the UK’s top third sector brands: Comic Relief, vInspired, Carers Uk and Inaura.

Sidekick School helped each organisation launch an MVP with a clear proposition, generated an early set of users, a business plan and then handed it over to a trained internal product manager to ensure the growth of the business.

Following the success of the pilot, we are now looking for investors and funders to help us launch a bigger, even more ambitious Sidekick School
